The N’Namdi Movement Center is so excited to announce a new class: Urban Kiz

Urban Kiz is a partner dance that hails from Europe. It has deep roots in Angolan, but
has been heavily influenced by other dances such as Tango, and Hip Hop. It is a
walking dance that is ornamented by intricate footwork and body isolations.

Yesi and Eddy, dance instructors from Detroit, Michigan. They have spent a lifetime of
studying various Latin dances, and competing locally in Latin dance competitions.
Within the last 3 years they expanded into Urban Kiz, traveling all over North America
and Europe to study under renowned masters of the dance.

They are now they are spreading their passion and love for dance; teaching in the
Detroit area during the week and traveling throughout North America to teach on the
weekends. These rising instructors are known for their technical insight on how to
execute this dance as well as their unique style and fun they bring to the dance.
